Executive Director & Counselor CADAC II, BA
To those who've been given a lot, much is expected. Every day I sit amazed at my full belly, relatively good health, wonderful people in my orbit, and capacity to continue to pursue my dreams. I marvel at the growth I've watched my clients achieve. Whether it's in their confidence, their evolving language, or straight through to what their families testify as meaningful changes - there's nothing else like it. Everyone deserves to feel that way. We want you to feel recognized, heard, and like you deserve to feel whole.
What are people saying about Nick’s groups:
“Just gotta say after being in the make-up group last week, I am completely humbled by you and our group! That was a s*** show and I don't wanna be in any other group besides this one again. & I now see why we have all the silly little rules. Lol! So thank you for being so damn awesome!”
“Thank you. You are truly the best person I have ever met. Without you I wouldn't have had the mindset change I did. So definitely thank you for being the best.”
“Also just wanted to thank you for everything you do, it's definitely not lost on me. I feel like I take this pretty serious compared to some and I have obviously seen positive results with how I deal with people's bull*** and process certain stresses and triggers and I know I have you to thank for it. So just wanted to say thanks again.”
“I feel like you give a s***. I've been at a methadone clinic for 13 years and seen some of the worst counselors on God's green earth. This is nothing like those. I feel like I actually get something out of these groups.”
“Our rapport and our give and take and your attitude is why I come to group every week.”
“You were completely different from my last counselor and you called everybody out on their bull****. At first I was like man I don't know if I’m gonna engage a whole lot in this group, but it turns out this has been the most life changing experience for me at this point.”

Co-founder and our big softy, Hussain’s almost too likeable. Kids, families, and individuals at all stages appreciate the smile and demeanor Hussain brings to the table. Hussain has fought for his families while employed for the Monroe County Department of Child Services, Ireland, and Stone City. He continues to show up and defend when they are targeted or threatened, many of whom reach out years later. He is currently working on his doctorate and obtaining his LMHC.
